Foremay EC188 – Solid-state drives with SATA 3.0

         

Drives are designed for high-performance servers and workstations. To connect to the computer interface is Serial ATA 3.0, provides a bandwidth of up to 6 Gbps. The claimed speed of reading the information reaches 450 MB / sec write speed – 350 MB / sec.

Drives are compatible with all popular operating systems including Linux, OpenSolaris, Solaris, FreeBSD, HP-UX, Unix, Windows and Mac OS X. It is expected that they will be used in servers that support the work of large databases, “cloud” platforms, as well as powerful computers, enterprise-class.

Foremay to deliver a modified drive for up to 500 GB. Trial shipments have already begun, information about the estimated value of new products yet.

Add that line drives EC188 also includes models with Serial ATA II interface in the form factors 2,5 and 3,5 inch up to 1 TB and 2, respectively.
