FIC Tycoon TVB00: 10,1-inch tablet with Windows 7
The company First International Computer (FIC) introduced the Tablet PC Tycoon TVB00, a preliminary announcement of which was held at Computex 2010 (Taipei, Taiwan).
The model has a 10.1-inch touch screen with 1024 × 600 pixels, endowed with LED backlighting and supports multitouch technology. Hardware-based tablet – 1.66-GHz processor Intel Atom N455 with integrated graphics.
The developers emphasize that the new product is capable of reproducing video “high definition” format 1080p (Full HD); earlier recall, it was reported that this requires the installation of an optional accelerator Broadcom BCM70015 Crystal HD.
In the arsenal of devices – 1.8-inch hard drive capacity of 120 GB, 2 GB DDR3 RAM 667 MHz, Mini HDMI connectors and VGA for external monitor connection, two ports USB 2.0, headphone jack and external microphone, AC adapter Wi-Fi ( IEEE 802.11b/g/n), Bluetooth 2.1 module and a web camera with 2 megapixels. The role of the software platform is Windows 7.
Cost new is about $ 600. In Taiwan, it will be sold under the brand name First International Computer, and in other markets – under the brand names of local companies.
