Galapagos 003SH и 005SH – world’s first Android smart phone with 3D-display by Sharp
As expected, Sharp announced two Android smartphone with a 3D-displays. Models Galapagos 003SH and 005SH will be sold only in Japan – from a local mobile operator SoftBank. Buy the first new product will be available in December this year, the second – in February next.
Both smartphones are equipped with 3.8-inch touch screen technology-based ASV (Sharp Advanced Super View TFT) with 480 × 800 pixels (WVGA) and support for multitouch technology, which allows you to view “volume” image without special glasses. Screen appears, uses the effect of parallax barrier: it forms two slightly different images for left and right eyes, and if the user is located directly opposite the display, the image seems to be voluminous.
Model Sharp Galapagos 003SH is endowed with 9.6-megapixel camera on the basis of the CCD with autofocus lens and the recording function of HD-video format 720p, 400 MB of internal memory, as well as modules Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS. At the heart of the smartphone – GHz processor family Qualcomm Snapdragon, and it works under OS Android 2.2.
Sharp Galapagos 005SH has a sliding QWERTY-keyboard (the form factor of the “side slide”), 512 MB of memory and a camera with 8 megapixels. On this distinction ends.
Smartphones will ship with seven films in 3D-format, including “Shrek Forever” and “ugly I am.” In addition, buyers will get seven new “bulk” of toys, for example, Capcom will give the game Mega Man, Resident Evil: Degeneration and Ghosts’ n Goblins: Gold Knights.
