Sequel to Assassin’s Creed will be released in 2011
Publisher Ubisoft will release the next game in a series of Assassin’s Creed for 2011. In an interview with MCV said head of marketing and sales at Ubisoft EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), Geoffrey Sardine (Geoffroy Sardin).
He confirmed the statement, which had previously made the head of the publishing house Yves Guillemot (Yves Guillemot). Guillemot announced that in 2011 released “something” which is relevant to the Assassin’s Creed. Sardine said that his boss had in mind a new full-fledged part of the series. Any details of the project, he did not disclose.
Sardine also told that the latter is currently part of Assassin’s Creed – Brotherhood – has reached the mark of one million copies sold in less than a week. Total sales of the series is more than 20 million. Thus, Assassin’s Creed is the most lucrative series publisher Ubisoft.
The first part of Assassin’s Creed released on Nov. 14, 2007 on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. 14 April 2008 a version PC games. The main heroes of Assassin’s Creed are members of the secret society of assassins, known as the Assassins. The first part of the assassins named Altair, who lived in the era of the Crusades.
The plot of Assassin’s Creed II was built around another assassin, Ezio Auditor. The action of this game is set in Renaissance Italy. The second part of Assassin’s Creed released on Nov. 19, 2009 on the consoles and the Mar. 5, 2010 on the PC. Released November 19, 2010 Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood completed story Ezio.
