Stacking game by Tim Schafer

In development is “an adventure puzzle game in the third person” Stacking, said Tim Schaefer (Tim Schafer), head of California’s real estate development studio Double Fine.

The game will be released only on Xbox 360 and PS3. Release is scheduled for spring 2011, and it shall be exclusively digital: the project will be extended only in the networks of Xbox Live Arcade and PSN. Will publish a game company THQ.

Well, most of Stacking can only say one thing: it’s definitely a game by Tim Schafer. All of the characters, and even our hero, is … dolls. Visually the game is done “in the style of 30-ies.” We, Charlie Blakemore, the smallest of the dolls, trying to save his family, “which fell into bondage to wicked industrialist.

Its key feature is the ability of dolls jump into one another. We can get to any doll, whose size is one number greater than ours. And to do so will only be one of those reasons, that each character has their own unique abilities to help solve a particular puzzle. It is also important that the dolls can also jump, thus we will combine the skills and chart its path. “The game will not be the only right decision”, – says Mr. Schaefer.
