Gran Turismo 5 – Sony has released an update
Sony has released an update for a racing simulator, Gran Turismo 5. As reported by Eurogamer, its size is 608 megabytes.
The update adds in Gran Turismo 5 number of functions. So, the players were able to turn off the panel with information during the race. Points of “experience” and compensation is now calculated including for online racing. Mileage and number of wins in the online were taken into account in compiling statistics of the players. Also prior to February 2011 increased the amount of remuneration for the victory in the race types A-spec and B-spec. In addition, the game added a new shop where you can find the rare used cars.
The fifth part of Gran Turismo on sale November 24, 2010 game. It is exclusive to the PlayStation 3 console. The game was in development for at least five years. As of December 6, 2010 GT5 sold in more than five and a half million copies. Total sales of the Gran Turismo series of games have reached 61.4 million copies.
GT5 has received positive reviews from critics. Game rating on GameRankings aggregator of reviews is about 85 percent. It should be noted that the previous games in the series got better grades. Below GT5 evaluated only extended demo version – “Prologue” – and Gran Turismo for the portable console PSP.
