Sony Ericsson announces three new Android-smartphone, the Xperia line of replenishing this manufacturer. New items were named Xperia Neo, Xperia Pro and Xperia Play, as well as the operating system using Google Android version 2.3, codenamed “Gingerbread.

Xperia Neo, Xperia Pro and have similar characteristics – 3.7-inch touch screen with a resolution 854h480 pixel processor Qualcomm Snapdragon, clocked at 1 GHz wireless technology Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, GPS-receiver, an 8-megapixel camera, support Technology Sony Bravia Engine, providing high quality images on the screen, the availability of HDMI-out.

The main difference between these two models is the availability of Xperia Pro QWERTY-keyboard, which makes this smartphone is oriented at business users.

As for Xperia Play, then, this smartphone is aimed at those who want to not only work but also fun – it has a slightly larger screen (4 inches), a camera with lower resolution (5 megapixels) and, importantly for the fans to play, sliding game controller. The rest of its characteristics are the same as the previous models.

It is expected that the sale of new smart phones will appear in March this year, and their price is not reported.
